In the iOS and Android apps the scratchpad can be accessed easily from the main menu when you're in Go Flying mode and contains multiple pages that can be scrolled through using the 'Next Page' buttons. Tip: To quickly access the scratchpad swipe your finger from right to left across the Virtual Radar at the bottom of the screen. Clearly, the Scratchpad is designed to be used in flight only so, ipso facto, you have to be in flying/simulation mode for it to be available.
